Glamour on the Avenue will showcase fashion, food and talent from many local businesses.
The first Mayfair fashion show, Glamour on the Avenue, will take place on Thursday, July 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the intersection of Frankford, Cottman and Ryan avenues. The rain date is Thursday, July 26.
Guest hosts Gillie Da King and Wallo267 will sing, and DJ Alamo will play music. Runway fashions will come from Domenico’s Formal Wear, Dress Up Time, Art History 101, Infinity Jewelers, Creations Unisex Salon, The InkWell 215 and Torresdale Flower Shop.
There will be food and drinks from Grey Lodge Pub, Gino’s Pizza Cafe, Oteri’s Bakery, The Halal Guys, Frank’s Steaks & Burgers, Factory Donuts and Rita’s Water Ice. Sponsors are the Mayfair Business Improvement District, City Councilman Bobby Henon, Dunphy Motors, goPuff and Republic Bank.
Earlier in the night, from 5 to 7, the Mayfair Night Market will be open. ••
