The meeting will discuss the revitalization of the Tarken Recreation Center and other subjects.
A meeting will be held on Monday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Tarken Recreation Center, 6250 Frontenac St.
Topics open for discussion include recreation center revitalization, creation of a handicapped-accessible play area, implementation of security cameras in the rec center and the neighborhood, forming support and activity groups at Tarken, organizing fundraisers for the needy, outreach to LGBT youths and developing a web space for neighborhood information.
