The Northeast Times provides an overview of crimes reported to the four police districts in the Northeast. The details are based on reports compiled by the Northeast Detectives division of the Philadelphia Police Department.

Aug. 20 through Sept. 2

As reported by Northeast Detectives. Does not include homicides, sexual assaults, narcotics offenses or other specific crimes investigated by special police units. All locations listed by block, not by exact address.

2nd Police District

There were nine robberies. Four of them took place on the street at 6600 Oakland St. (Sept. 1), 5200 Howland St. (Aug. 24), Roosevelt Boulevard and Oxford Avenue (Aug. 28) and 7900 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 29). Others targeted two mini markets at 5800 Rising Sun Ave. (Aug. 23) and 6600 Rising Sun Ave. (Aug. 26) and a chain retail store at 5700 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 20). A private residence at 900 Anchor St. was robbed Aug. 26. A bank at 2200 Cottman Ave. was robbed Aug. 29.

There were seven aggravated assaults, which resulted in five arrests. Most of them took place on the street, at 800 Granite St. (Aug. 29, Chyna Bryant, 25), 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 29), 400 Devereaux Ave. (Aug. 23, Angela Cyrankowski, 31), 1200 Princeton Ave. (Sept. 2, Yolanda Walker, 53) and 600 Van Kirk St. (Aug. 21, Kenneth Hickson, 29). Domestic assaults also took place at a private residence at 800 Granite St. (Aug. 30, Leo Kassally, 38) and an apartment house at 7400 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 26).

There were 10 burglaries, most of which targeted private residences. Oscar Perdomo, 29, was arrested after a burglary attempt of a private residence at 6700 Horrocks St. (Sept. 2). Other private residences targeted included 900 Longshore Ave. (Aug. 26), 600 E. Godfrey Ave. (Aug. 31), 500 Robbins St. (Aug. 20), 5500 Miriam Road (Aug. 28), 1100 Passmore St. (Aug. 30), 2300 Hartel Ave. (Aug. 31) and an attempt at 2500 Faunce St. (Aug. 28). Other locations targeted included a drug store at 5500 Whitaker Ave. (Aug. 22) and a restaurant at 2311 Cottman Ave. (Aug. 20).

There were 70 thefts, which targeted 34 vehicles (including three stolen vehicle tags), 24 businesses, three apartment houses, three bicycles, three street thefts, two private residences and a nursing home. Four arrests were made. In addition, 16 vehicles were reported stolen, 14 of which have been recovered. Two arrests were made.

7th Police District

The one robbery took place on the street of 300 Byberry Road on Aug. 21 and involved a knife.

Wei Guan, 38, was arrested following a domestic aggravated assault on the street of 1800 Bergen St. on Aug. 25. The only other aggravated assault took place on the street at 8200 Bustleton Ave. on Aug. 31 and involved a handgun.

The six burglaries mostly targeted private residences or apartment houses. These took place at private residences at 1200 Norwalk Road (Sept. 2), 0 Country Lane Drive (Sept. 2) and 9500 Hoff St. (Aug. 28) and attempts at apartment houses at 9800 Wistaria St. (Aug. 27, one arrest) and 9800 Haldeman Ave. (Aug. 30). A drug store at 8500 Bustleton Ave. was burglarized Aug. 28.

There were 30 thefts, which targeted 14 vehicles (including three stolen vehicle tags), eight businesses, two nursing homes, two bicycles, a private residence, an apartment house, a street theft and an athletic field/playground/rec center. Three arrests were made. In addition, seven vehicles were reported stolen, three of which have been recovered.

8th Police District

Edward Durham, 28, was arrested Aug. 21 following a robbery on the street of 9200 Frankford Ave. involving a handgun. The second robbery took place on the street of 3200 Red Lion Road Aug. 20 and involved a knife.

Six aggravated assaults yielded three arrests. The assaults took place on the street at 9200 N. Delaware Ave. (Sept. 1), a domestic assault at Thornton and Comly roads (Aug. 25, Jerome Williams, 38) and an assault on police at 4500 Arendell Ave. (Aug. 21, Edward Durham, 28). They also took place at private residences at 3300 S. Keswick Road (Aug. 21) and a domestic assault at 2800 Welsh Road (Aug. 25, April Ann Morrell, 40) and an apartment house at 3600 Red Lion Road (Aug. 29).

Most of the nine burglaries targeted private residences or apartment houses. These took place at private residences at 3200 Fuller St. (Aug. 25), 10800 Pelle Circle (Aug. 27), 3600 Canby Drive (Sept. 1), 12000 Waldemire Drive (Aug. 22) and 3500 E. Crown Ave. (Aug. 31) and apartment houses at 3600 Rhawn St. (Aug. 31), 9400 Fairgreen Lane (Aug. 25) and 3600 Rhawn St. (Aug. 31). A chain food store at 8600 Frankford Ave. was burglarized Aug. 22.

There were 44 thefts, which targeted 18 businesses, 10 vehicles, four private residences, three street thefts, three bicycles, two apartment houses, two hospitals, a nursing home and an unlisted location. Six arrests were made. In addition, 10 vehicles were stolen, six of which have been recovered. Two arrests were made.

15th Police District

There were 20 robberies, most of which took place on the street. These happened at 5600 Bustleton Ave. (Aug. 25), Frankford Avenue and Orthodox Street (Aug. 25), 6400 Charles St. (Aug. 27), 4200 Devereaux Ave. (Aug. 28), 6200 Bustleton Ave. (Aug. 30), 4100 Robbins St. (Aug. 30), 4800 Longshore Ave. (Sept. 1), and 1200 Bridge St. (Sept. 2), all of which involved handguns; 5200 Penn St. (Aug. 29), which involved a knife; and 5900 Charles St. (Aug. 29), Oxford and Frankford avenues (Aug. 28), 6800 Glenloch St. (Aug. 28) and a vehicle at 4900 Cottman Ave. (Aug. 29). Stephen Jones, 56, was arrested Aug. 26 after a robbery on the street at 7700 Lexington Ave. Other robberies took place at private residences at 4600 Oakland St. (Aug. 20) and 4100 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 20), both involving handguns; chain stores at 5000 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 22) and 5200 Harbison Ave. (Aug. 21), the latter of which involved a handgun; a grocery store at 2900 Cottman Ave. (Aug 20), which involved a handgun; and a bank at 2600 Orthodox St. (Aug. 22) involving a handgun.

There were 29 aggravated assaults, which resulted in 10 arrests. They took place on the street at 4700 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 22), 4600 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 26), 1300 Foulkrod St. (Aug. 29, Eric Toney, 45), 4000 Aldine St. (Aug. 20), 6300 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 29), 7100 Milnor St. (Aug. 22), four times at 5800 Oakland St. (Aug. 23), 3200 Knorr St. (Aug. 28), Princeton and Torresdale avenues (Aug. 29, Chrismarqueze Tucker, 23), 1100 Harrison St. (Sept. 1, James Boranski), 5200 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 23, Ilanya Halmon, 20), 4600 Richmond St. (Sept. 2), 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 30), 3100 Barnett St. (Aug. 21), 4700 Leiper St. (Aug. 22), 2809 Levick St. (Sept. 2), 7100 Hegerman St. (Aug. 20) and an instance of child abuse at 5400 Saul St. (Aug. 29, Yvonne Jones, 31). Others took place at private residences at 5100 Pennway St. (Aug. 30, Jose Velasquez, 42), 1700 Margaret St. (Aug. 31, Hakim Hughes, 39), 700 Jericho Road (Aug. 26), 2100 Wakeling St. (Aug. 21, Tatiana Montero, 24), 7800 Craig St. (Aug. 20, Peter Cortez, 55) and 2100 Haworth St. (Aug. 25, Jessica Carter, 32). There were also two assaults at a mental institution at 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. on Aug. 29.

There were 16 burglaries, most of which targeted private residences. These happened at 2800 Gilham St. (Aug. 28), 1800 Wakeling St. (Aug. 31, Luis Rodriguez, 22), 5700 Leonard St. (Sept. 2), 1400 Alcott St. (Sept. 2), 1300 Arrott St. (Aug. 30), 7700 Torresdale Ave. (Sept. 1), 3200 Disston St. (Aug. 26), 4300 Cottman Ave. (Sept. 1), 4100 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 20), 3900 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 24), 4100 Levick St. (Aug. 26) and 4600 Naples St. (Aug. 22, Sharahya Lewis, 19). Others took place at a gas station at 6100 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 30), an office building at 7400 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 31), a non-motor vehicle at 7100 Torresdale Ave. (Aug. 25) and an apartment house at 6800 Ditman St. (Aug. 24).

There were 99 thefts, which targeted 49 vehicles (including eight stolen vehicle tags), 19 businesses, 17 street thefts (including a purse snatching), eight bicycles, four private residences, an apartment house and an unspecified location. Seven arrests were made. In addition, 34 vehicles were reported stolen, 19 of which have been recovered. One arrest was made. ••
