Suspect wanted in Rhawnhurst road rage shooting incident

A road rage incident resulted in a non-fatal shooting Sept. 25.

Police are trying to identify the owner of a vehicle after a road rage incident escalated into a non-fatal shooting this Tuesday.

On Sept. 25, at approximately 12:07 p.m., the driver of a gray Pontiac Grand Prix fired at least one shot at another car on the 1700 block of Tustin Street.

The shooting happened when two unknown black males cut off another vehicle. After the drivers spoke, the Pontiac drove away further down the street, where they fired the shot.

7th District Police Captain Robert Ritchie said nobody was injured.

The vehicle is described as a 2004–2008 four-door sedan with tinted windows and a moonroof. It had five spoke wheels that Ritchie described as distinct because they made the shape of a star or asterisk.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information should contact Northeast Detectives at 215–686–3153/54. ••
