The Northeast Times highlights two local animals looking for their forever homes.

Zeus stands tall with cuteness

Zeus is an adorable 2- to 3-year-old American bulldog mix who is fun loving and incredibly sweet.

Zeus loves to go for walks and runs, play tug, snuggle and take car rides, and gets along with other dogs but wants to be a family’s only pet.

Hope and pray for forever home

Hope and her companions were taken into foster by Northeast Animal Rescue early in September when their owner could no longer care for them.

Hope has been the most outgoing of the group. She gets along with all the other cats and two large dogs she lives with. She loves people. Hope, 4, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
