The Northeast Times highlights two local animals looking for their forever homes.
JP will be thrilled to meet you
JP is a sweet 3-year-old pup who can use some help learning how to meet people. He becomes over-excited and is working with a trainer since no one ever showed him how to be a good boy.
JP has done well with kids but due to his size, small kids are not recommended. It is also recommend that he be the only dog in a home.
For more information or to make an appointment to meet JP, email Katie at [email protected] ••
Victor is a sweetheart
Victor is a very shy, sweet and adorable cat in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue. Once he warms up to you, you have a friend for life. He loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed.
He will wake you up in the morning by flopping down next to your head and purring. He loves to sleep in bed with a person or two.
Victor enjoys an occasional dinner-table snack, especially chicken. He does not like loud noises or lots of activity, and is best suited for a home without young children. He does like other cats, especially if they will play with him.
Victor enjoys keeping busy with important cat things — playing, purring, playing and cuddling. He is ready for his new forever family.
Victor, 2, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
