Weekend of activities at St. Nicholas

A delegation from the Ukrainian Synodal Administration for Chaplaincies will arrive at St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church, 817 N. 7th St., on Friday, Nov. 2.

Their itinerary includes blessing the commencement of St. Nicholas Church’s annual pierogi festival on Saturday, Nov. 3, at noon. The festival is a two-day event that concludes at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

With free admission and parking, attendees can enjoy homemade pierogis and other ethnic foods, a beer garden, holiday shopping from a variety of vendors, baked goods and non-stop live music.

There will be a divine liturgy at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 4.
