When Eagles are on road, Mayfair the home base

WIP hosted its Go Birds Pre-Game Show and Tailgate Party while the Birds were in London.

The Mayfair Business Improvement District and WIP held their Go Birds Pre-Game Show and Tailgate Party on Sunday morning at Factory Donuts, before the Eagles defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

James Seltzer and John Barchard hosted the Go Birds show, and were joined by former Eagles defensive tackle Darwin Walker.

Dunphy Ford raffled off shirts for fans.

The Grey Lodge Pub offered green eggs and ham sandwiches.

The next show will be on Sunday, Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., before the Eagles game at the New Orleans Saints. Afterward will be the 42nd annual Mayfair-Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade. ••
