Teenager injured in Tacony shooting

A 17-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet Friday afternoon near Vogt Recreation Center.

A 17-year-old boy was injured Friday afternoon after being shot near Vogt Recreation Center in Tacony, police said.

Officers responded to the area near Unruh Avenue and Walker Street around 4:30 p.m. The victim suffered a graze wound to his back and was released to his parents, who transported him to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

No one has been arrested in connection to the shooting and no weapons were recovered, police said. ••
