Christmas bazaar on Saturday

Christ the King Church, 3205 Chesterfield Road, will hold a Christmas bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be pictures with Santa and games for adults and children.

Prizes will include an autographed Eagles football, a laptop, an iPad, an Apple Watch and a trip to Disney. ••

Nature and history walk on Sunday

Friends of Pennypack Park will hold its monthly nature and history walk on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m.

Senior Fair on Saturday

Jeanes community grant applications due

The Anna T. Jeanes Foundation, which supports Jeanes Hospital, is accepting applications for its 2019 community grants program.

Grants are awarded annually to provide funding for projects that promote the health and wellness of communities in the hospital’s service areas. Criteria include a project’s merit, community impact and the availability of funds.

The grants will range from $500 to $2,500 each.

Applications are due Friday, Nov. 16. Funds must be used from Jan. 1, 2019 to Dec. 31, 2019.

Nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply, and must provide a copy of their tax exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service and a completed W-9 form.

Organizations applying for grants must be located in one of the following ZIP codes: 19012, 19027, 19111, 19115, 19120, 19149, 19152, 19006, 19046, 19095, 19114, 19116, 19124, 19126, 19135, 19136, and 19154. Projects receiving funding must take place within these ZIP codes.

Doc joins dermatology practice

Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners welcome Dr. Jason Schoenfeld to its newest office at 9501 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 506, where he joins Dr. Barry Abraham.

Schoenfeld is accepting new patients of all ages.

Winner chosen in meatball contest

Theresa Colosimo was the winner of the recent Tacony Mayfair Sons of Italy Lodge 447 meatball competition.

The runners-up were Walter Curran and Karan Beumont.

Pat’s Pizza & Steaks opened recently in Roosevelt Mall, in the former home of Jim’s Steaks.
