A special visit from Santa: Santa Claus visited Holmesburg Library last week, with children able to hand him their Christmas wish list or tell him what they want under their trees on Dec. 25. The Friends of Holmesburg Library sponsored the Dec. 5 event. Santa posed for pictures with the kids, who munched on cookies, taffies and candy canes. Librarian Paul Daka read a Christmas story to the youngsters, who also had a chance to make crafts and color holiday pictures.
