Eagles pride: People braved the cold weather to go to the “Go Birds” Pre-Game Show and Game Watching party on Sunday at Frankford and Cottman avenues. The event was a partnership between the Mayfair Business Improvement District and sports radio WIP (94.1 FM). The Go Birds show was hosted by John Barchard and Jack Fritz. Children and adults got to show off their quarterback skills against former Eagles quarterback A.J. Feeley, in the “WIP Quarterback Challenge.” The event also featured food, beer, merchandise and games. The pregame show will be back on Sunday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m., before the Eagles attempt to keep their playoff hopes alive against the Los Angeles Rams.
