Jingle all the way: Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, 700 Robbins Ave., held its annual children’s holiday party at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School. About 20 civilian and military employees, including Brig. Gen. Mark Simerly, DLA Troop Support commander, visited Franklin, 5735 Rising Sun Ave. At the school, they made reindeer ornaments, played musical chairs and sung Christmas carols. The employees brought gifts to more than 180 kindergarten and first-grade students. In addition, each teacher received a container full of items needed for the classroom. Items included boxes of crayons, reams of paper, headphones for computers, tissues and cleaning supplies.
