Burholme civic backs resident’s shed proposal

The Burholme Town Watch and Civic Association approved construction of a shed behind a duplex at 7227 Dungan Road.

Owner Emanuel Taylor said the shed would be 20 feet by 20 feet. Neighbors approved his request, 10-0.

In other news from the Dec. 13 meeting, an aide to City Councilman Brian O’Neill delivered a $1,000 Philadelphia Activities Fund grant to the organization.

Town Watch is looking into implementing a safe corridor program to prevent fights after dismissal at Wilson Middle School.

Nominations for board members will take place at the Jan. 10 meeting, at 7 p.m. at Wesley Enhanced Living, 7040 Oxford Ave. Elections will take place at the Feb. 14 meeting. ••
