KleinLife celebrates Academy Awards

KleinLife, 10100 Jamison Ave., on Thursday hosted a red carpet salute to the 91st Academy Awards in Hollywood. Some 150 members and guests were given the opportunity to pose for a personal photo with a replica of the famed Hollywood statue on a red carpet to mark the occasion. They also voted for their favorite movies and actors, enjoyed Oscar-related brain games provided by member and volunteer Burt Forman and enjoyed a celebratory lunch. The Wife, an Oscar-nominated motion picture starring Glenn Close, was shown as part of the salute. Enjoying the celebration were (from left) member Marci Lyons-DiCamillo; Ron Homer, who was attending with his low-vision group; and Shelley Geltzer, program director of active adult life who served as the producer of the event.
