Keelo carries weight with his stunning looks
Keelo is a little rough around the edges, but will make someone an excellent companion. He is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.
He is 1 to 2 years old and was found as a stray. He weighs a little more than 50 pounds. He is energetic and walks well on a leash. He would do best with an experienced dog owner who is committed to training. His new home should not have any small children.
Keelo loves soft blankets and frozen-filled Kongs, and likes to hang with humans.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Sweet Ciana enjoys the home life
Ciana was rescued from an alleyway next to a very busy intersection, and is now in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
She is friendly, outgoing and very curious. She is affectionate and enjoys cuddles. With her curious nature, everything is a new adventure and she will want to be involved in everything you do. Ciana is personable and loves cuddle time as much as playtime. She is also very good with other cats. This little miss is always looking for a game or something to get into. She needs to be adopted with another cat or go to a home where she will have a cat playmate.
Ciana, 11 months old, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
