Monty is a 5-year-old terrier mix who came to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., as a stray.
He loves toys and is a high-energy guy with limited stamina. After some exercise, he is ready for the sofa. He would prefer to be the one and only pet in a home. He is crate trained, up to date on shots and neutered.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Rio is a purring, meowing lover boy who wants nothing more than love and attention. He was rescued from a Rite Aid parking lot, where he was searching for food, and is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
Rio can be a little timid at times and will need a bit of time to adjust to new environments. His sweet nature makes it easy for him to adjust to new furry siblings.
Rio, 4, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
