Friends of Overington Park, the city Department of Parks and Recreation and the Frankford Garden Club will sponsor an Arbor Day celebration on Tuesday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Overington Park, 4600 Leiper St.
The day will include free education activities, tree plantings, tree-climbing demonstration and environmental education.
The event had been scheduled for Friday, but postponed due to expected rain. ••
