13-year-old boy seriously injured in Holme Circle crash

A 13-year-old boy was in critical condition after being hit by a car Wednesday afternoon on the 3000 block of Holme Avenue.

A 13-year-old boy was in critical condition after being hit by a car Wednesday, May 1, in Holme Circle.

Police responded to the 3000 block of Holme Avenue around 3:30 p.m., and the boy was transported to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

The boy darted out into the street from behind a SEPTA bus, authorities said. The driver who hit him remained on the scene, according to police.

Police said the crash is being actively investigated by the Accident Investigation Unit. ••
