Block Gives Back wraps up ‘4 Blocks in 4 Weeks’ cleanups

The Block Gives Back on Saturday completed its fourth annual The Block Goes Green street-cleaning effort.

The Block organizes a “4 Blocks in 4 Weeks” cleanup, which took place each Saturday in April.

The Block recently cleaned the 2800 block of N. 26th St. (between Cambria Street and Somerset Street).

The day included music, drinks, pizza, snacks, football and basketball.

Other upcoming events include a homeless feeding on June 25, Love Thy Park cleanups on May 11 and June 29 and a Father’s Day breakfast on June 15. ••
