An officer responding to a burglary alarm hit a man with his car Thursday morning in Frankford, authorities said.
Around 7:45 a.m., the 15th District officer was going west on the 1400 block of Ruan Street when a 42-year-old man stepped off the back of his truck and into the road, police said. He was transported to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition, authorities said.
The officer was not injured, but the police vehicle sustained hood and windshield damage.
