The Lawncrest 4th of July celebration will feature a children’s bicycle decorating contest.
Children 12 and under are welcome to decorate their bicycles in red, white and blue and follow the parade down Rising Sun Avenue.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated bikes.
Participants should arrive at the St. William Church parking lot, Rising Sun and Devereaux avenues, by 8:30 a.m.
To participate, signed permission slips must be returned to the Lawncrest Recreation Center, Rising Sun Avenue and Comly Street. Helmets are required. No motorized vehicles are permitted.
