The community is invited to a July 4 fireworks festival organized by the newly formed nonprofit One River Alliance.
The event will run from 6 to 10 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Park, located on Linden Avenue at the Delaware River.
Philly Heart and Soul will perform live music. There will be food trucks, children’s activities and a fireworks display by Pyrotecnico, the same company that produced Saturday’s performance at Penn’s Landing. Fireworks, shot from a barge in the river, are expected to go off at about 9:15 p.m. ••
