Last Friday, residents of the Paul’s Run retirement community, 9896 Bustleton Ave., held a picnic for members of the Philadelphia Police and Fire departments.
The annual event is an opportunity for the residents and staff to thank police officers and firefighters.
“Every day, members of the Philadelphia Fire Department and Police Department put their lives on the line for the city,” said Bill Hines, executive director of Paul’s Run. “We are honored to host them, and to thank them for their service.” ••
