City Councilman Al Taubenberger (R-at large) is hosting a Halloween-themed Senior Health & Resource Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cannstatter’s, 9130 Academy Road.
The free event features more than 30 vendors and resource tables specifically designed for Northeast senior citizens. In addition to a disc jockey, prize giveaways and light refreshments, the expo will offer prizes for the best Halloween costumes.
“Our senior citizens are the most revered residents of our great city,” Taubenberger said. “I instituted this series of health and resource events to make our seniors aware of the help that is readily available to them. The Oct. 30 Halloween-themed event is sure to be a ‘boo-tiful’ time. I look forward to seeing a lot of nice folks there.”
