Staff members of RSVP Philadelphia and KleinLife, 10100 Jamison Ave., recently cooked and packaged some 250 additional meals for the Home Delivered Meals Program in Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery counties.

The extra meals filled a void left by volunteer groups that did not come to prepare meals for area seniors because of concerns about the coronavirus.

The RSVP Philadelphia Home Delivered Meals Program provides some 70,000 home-delivered meals annually for area seniors who cannot shop or cook for themselves. RSVP Philadelphia is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia. It is sponsored by KleinLife. ••
