The local Chinese-American community is coming together to benefit first responders during the coronavirus pandemic.

Chinese-Americans donated masks, gloves and $1,000 in memory of slain police Sgt. James O’Connor IV to the 2nd Police District.

The Pennsylvanian Overseas Chinese Pandemic Fighting Fund donated the following to Temple University Hospital: 10,000 medical-use masks, 1,000 N95 masks, 2,000 pairs of protective gloves, 100 sets of protective coveralls and 100 bottles of hand sanitizer. ••
