Telemedicine service offered for dermatology patients

Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners announced that its telemedicine service is being offered at numerous locations throughout its regional network in an effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, and keep its patients and staff safe.

PDP has two locations in the Northeast, one at 8001 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 307, and the other at 9501 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 508.

“Telemedicine takes advantage of technology to see patients with non-emergency conditions in their homes,” said Andrew Frankel, COO of PDP. “People can use their devices to set up a virtual visit with one of our doctors to evaluate their symptoms, get treatment advice and, in some cases, prescriptions.”

Some PDP doctors are seeing patients who require more serious medical attention. PDP has emptied waiting rooms of all magazines and nonessential items and sanitized them thoroughly.
