NeNe the Chi Chi and Onyx await new homes

NeNe is a male 3-year-old, 11-pound Chi Chi who enjoys running in his foster’s fenced-in yard and is good on a leash.

He’s working on housetraining and is crate trained to sleep in at night. He loves adults and older kids and wants to be with them as much as possible. He’s a lap dog and prefers to be the only dog in the home  He is neutered and up to date on shots.

To meet this silly boy, apply at www.tprescue.org. ••

Onyx was rescued from an industrial park after a heavy rain. She was found in free-standing water, under scrap metal — no place for a 2-week-old kitten. With no mom in sight, she was brought to Northeast Animal Rescue. This bottle baby has blossomed into a beautiful and friendly kitten. She is social with cats and a large dog.

Onyx, 10 months old, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
