Dr. Scholl’s last week donated insoles to staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
The donation was made as part of a $1.3 million nationwide campaign to honor caregivers. The theme was #WeStandWithYou.
Fox Chase Cancer Center CEO Richard I. Fisher said the donation offered his staff both physical comfort and inspiration.
“So often, people are defined by how they rise up to meet difficult challenges — most especially, when such tests seem impossible. Caring for cancer patients in the time of COVID-19 is a tremendous responsibility, and the quality of care we provide depends upon the strength and dedication of our faculty and staff,” he said. “This generous support from Dr. Scholl’s helps us to do our work more comfortably, but even more notably, it inspires us to continue doing what we do best for the most vulnerable amongst us.”
Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gel Work insoles are clinically proven to reduce muscle fatigue and also absorb shock.
“Supporting the healthcare industry has been part of Dr. Scholl’s DNA since our founding in 1904 by Dr. William Mathias Scholl,” said Craig Stevenson, Scholl’s Wellness Company CEO. “We wanted to do what we could for all the caregivers who are working tirelessly on the front lines, and it is our sincerest hope that this gesture shows our appreciation for those who are there for us when we need them the most.”
