Solomon, Boyle and Chinese-Americans bring PPE to Jeanes

State Reps. Jared Solomon and Kevin Boyle and local Chinese-American leaders on Thursday delivered boxes of personal protective equipment to Jeanes Hospital.

Kathy Levins, associate vice president for public policy and government affairs for Temple University Health System, wrote to Solomon, “On behalf of the Temple University Health System, and particularly from Dr. Hurowitz and the Jeanes Team, thank you for your leadership in directing PPE to Jeanes Hospital. This will go a long way in helping us provide care to our patients while protecting our employees. While Jeanes is one of Philadelphia’s smaller hospital campuses, we are caring for a high number of Philadelphia’s patients diagnosed with COVID-19. We are extraordinarily proud of our important role during this pandemic, and we  deeply value our partnership with your office serving our community.”
