Mouse and Carlo will quietly win your heart

Mouse is 35 pounds and about a year old. She is spayed and chipped, and has finished a two-week board and train. She has good leash manners now but needs someone who will continue to work with her. Mouse would do best in an active home with older kids and as an only pet. She is lovable, enjoys car rides and is crate and house trained. To meet her,  go to www.luckydawganimalrescue.com. ••

Carlo is a striking boy who found his way to a car repair shop. Fortunately, a cat rescuer uses that very mechanic and was able to lure Carlo to her with the promise of some Fancy Feast. He was a hungry boy and gobbled it up happily.

Carlo has the squeakiest little meow and likes to rub noses with you.

Carlo has allergies that will cause him to lose his hair on his belly and legs. His allergies are well controlled on two inexpensive medications, and he takes his pills and food reward very well. He is not in any pain or discomfort from his condition or the medication. In fact, he is the happiest, most wonderful cat you’ll ever meet.

Carlo can coexist with other cats, but he doesn’t want to be BFFs with them. He’s saving all his love for you.

Carlo, 4, is neutered and up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

For more information, to fill out an application, to volunteer at one of Northeast Animal Rescue’s three Pet Valu locations or to submit your rescue pet’s picture for possible use in a 2021 calendar, visit nar.rescuegroups.org. ••
