A man who was walking along I-95 near the Cottman Avenue on-ramp was struck and killed this morning, police say.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning when the man walked onto I-95 from Cottman Avenue. He was in the travel lanes of the highway when he was struck, police said.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
Two northbound lanes were closed for investigation.
The identity or age of the man have not yet been released.
