He is a big dog trapped in a little dog’s body. He’s a funny, spunky and playful little dude.

He’s lived with cats, and loves other dogs.

He is neutered and up to date on shots.

He needs an active family. To meet him, apply at www.harleyshavendogrescue.com. ••

Wesley was rescued from a vacant lot in West Philly. He enjoys playing with strings, chasing laser beams and bird watching. You will find him lying on his cat tree, nuzzled in his cat bed or cuddling up with you on the couch. He is affectionate and very playful. He is good with other cats and would love a home with another easygoing, active cat companion.

Wesley is good with older children and cats. He has not been around dogs.

Wesley, 3, is neutered and up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

For more information, to fill out an application, to volunteer at one of Northeast Animal Rescue’s three Pet Valu locations or to submit your rescue pet’s picture for possible use in a 2021 calendar, visit nar.rescuegroups.org. ••
