Kamiah Jean (a graduate of Murrell Dobbins majoring in fashion/design & merchandising); Dakota Cloud (New Foundations Charter, sociology/criminology); Jayla Salvatierra (Abraham Lincoln, biology); Hayley Grayo (Lincoln, business administration/sport management and fashion); Alexis Malloy (Lincoln, psychobiology/nursing); Joeally Cortes (Lincoln, psychology/child development); Jared Banks (Academy of the New Church, accounting and communications); Viviana Silva (Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, crime and justice); Jaime Dagostino (Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, psychology and early childhood education); Emeli Cortes (Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, psychology and sociology); Haefa Froukh (Central, chemistry); Diana Theodore (George Washington, biology/nursing); Devonte Fearon (Hill-Freedman World Academy, computer science); Cristino Rivera (Pennsylvania Virtual Charter, sociology/criminology); and Jenna Staller (Philadelphia Academy Charter, biochemistry). ••

Stela Ahmataj has been named to Ohio University’s summer dean’s list. Students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester with a schedule of classes totaling at least 15 hours, to achieve this distinction. ••

XinLi Erica Mai was recently awarded a Love of Learning Award worth $500 from The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Mai is one of 200 recipients to receive the award. Love of Learning Awards are designed to help fund post-baccalaureate professional development for active Phi Kappa Phi members, including graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, travel related to teaching and research and career development. Mai, an alum from Arcadia University, will use funds from the award to complete the concurrent post-baccalaureate program in medical dosimetry at Thomas Jefferson Univerisity.

Mai was initiated into Phi Kappa Phi in 2018 at Arcadia. ••
