Tommy Conwell performed, among other songs, Everything They Say is True and Workout.

The Leigh Leckerman Foundation presented a drive-in concert featuring David Uosikkinen’s In the Pocket on Saturday night at the Neshaminy Mall parking lot, near the former Sears.

WMMR’s Pierre Robert announced the performers at the beginning and end of the concert.

The foundation is named in memory of Leigh Leckerman, who was a 21-year-old Penn State student when she died in 2003. She was walking home impaired when she was hit by an impaired driver in Worcester Township, Montgomery County.

The foundation assists individuals without health care or financial resources to receive substance use disorder treatment, housing and after-care services.

Uosikkinen, a drummer for the Hooters, founded In the Pocket a decade ago to promote Philadelphia-area music.

Highlights of the concert included Ben Arnold’s versions of Change Reaction by the late Robert Hazard and Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.

Money was raised for the foundation through ticket sales, a 50/50 and a raffle for a trip to Barbados.
