Thanksgiving is here, followed by Black Friday.
Shoppers will be out in force, looking for gifts for Christmas and Hanukkah, which this year runs from Dec. 10-18.
However, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, some Northeast families don’t have the means to enjoy a holiday meal or gifts.
Fortunately, the Eleanor Smylie Community Fund is here to help. The fund is in its 72nd year of providing support for needy folks in the Northeast.
All money collected is used to buy gift cards to provide holiday dinners and children’s gifts to Northeast families struggling to make ends meet.
We’ll publish your name in a list of donors. If you prefer to donate anonymously, we will honor that request.
