There have been a total of 3,169 deaths in the city. Of those deaths, 1,162 have been in nursing homes.

Meanwhile, the city announced that Cannstatter Volksfest-Verein German American Club, 9130 Academy Road, will be one of five new city-run locations that offer mass vaccinations. On Facebook, Councilman Bobby Henon announced he anticipates 500 doses to be available at the site per week.
The site will open the week of March 22. You must be registered through the city’s registration form, available here.
Mask wearing remains required in all businesses, and the state has issued an order requiring masks while out in public.
Statewide, there are 953,136 cases in all 67 counties, with 24,396 confirmed deaths, including 12,616 in nursing homes or personal care facilities.
