Holme Circle addresses zoning, biz, playground

The Holme Circle Civic Association met last week on Zoom, discussing various neighborhood issues.

The civic association will address an upcoming zoning issue involving a proposed sign on the side of Nazareth Hospital.

Meanwhile, a proposed buyer for the shuttered 7-Eleven at 2981 Welsh Road is awaiting mortgage confirmation.

As for the Dunkin’ Donuts across the street from the closed convenience store, a company manager has promised to address multiple complaints made by residents on the civic association Facebook page.

The civic association is patiently waiting for renovations to be completed at McArdle Playground. At the same time, the group is looking to secure private funding for playground upgrades not covered by the city. ••
