Remembering Mary Reed’s dedication to Bustleton Bengals

State Sen. John Sabatina Jr., City Councilman Brian O’Neill and the Bustleton Bengals board joined the family of Mary Reed to dedicate the club’s kitchen in her memory.

The Bustleton Bengals on Saturday dedicated their kitchen in memory of longtime volunteer Mary Reed, who passed away last November at age 53 of cancer.

Reed spent countless hours working the concession stand, even while her kids were playing ball.

State Sen. John Sabatina Jr. and City Councilman Brian O’Neill were in attendance for the dedication, which took place as part of the Bengals’ opening-day festivities. ••
