Nazareth Hospital getting new signs

Nazareth Hospital

Nazareth Hospital presented plans Wednesday night to change the look of two signs on its campus.

Attorney Steve Pollock appeared on a Zoom meeting of the Holme Circle Civic Association.

Pollock explained that the hospital property is zoned residential, meaning the Zoning Board of Adjustment needs to grant variances for the signs to be changed.

One of the signs is near the top of the hospital building. It will be adjusted to include the name of the hospital’s owner, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.

The other sign is an inoperable digital message board that will be reactivated to showcase programs and other hospital information.

The signs have not been changed since 2008.

Nazareth officials said the new signage is part of recent upgrades that include purchases of new medical equipment, along with lighting, landscaping and parking lot improvements.

The civic association approved the plans, and will write a letter of support to the ZBA. ••
