Fireworks
The Lawncrest 4th of July Committee will present a fireworks display on Sunday, July 4.
The fireworks will begin at dusk, or about 9 p.m.
The staging area will be the Lawncrest Recreation Center, at Rising Sun Avenue and Comly Street.
Last year’s celebration was canceled due to the coronavirus.
This year’s celebration will consist only of fireworks.
In ordinary years, the day also features a decorated bicycle contest, a parade, an American flag-raising ceremony, flea market, food court, car show, moonbounces, live music and bingo. ••
