A memorial Mass for Sister Frances Antoinette Engler will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Road in Morrell Park.
All are welcome to remember and pray for Sister Frances, a retired longtime Archbishop Ryan High School theology teacher who died on Aug. 5 when she was hit by a PECO Energy truck near Academy Road and Morrell Avenue. She was 80.
A funeral Mass took place on Aug. 12 at Saint Joseph Villa, in Flourtown.
