To be eligible for the honor, a student must have completed at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC. ••
More than 140 students in Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at University of the Sciences received their white coats at a recent ceremony. The white coat ceremony is an annual rite of passage for students in their first professional year (third year) of USciences’ six-year pharmacy program and symbolizes their dedication to the profession of pharmacy and to the care of others. Elana Kline was named to the dean’s list at Biola University (California) for academic excellence. Kline is a cinema and media arts major. Biola students are placed on the dean’s list if they have a GPA of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2. ••
