The Lawncrest Youth Council held a Halloween celebration on Saturday at Trinity Church, Oxford, 601 Longshore Ave.
The event was co-hosted by state Sen. Tina Tartaglione, City Councilwoman Cherelle Parker and state Rep. Jared Solomon.
The event featured a trunk or treat, Halloween music, arts and crafts, games and a fog machine.
Tartaglione, in costume, was in attendance, as was Solomon, Lawncrest Community Association president Bill Dolbow and the 2nd Police District.
In addition to the sponsors, others handing out candy included the Philadelphia Protestant Home, Kinder Academy, 100.3 FM, Gary Barbera’s on the Boulevard and the Allstate Insurance Company’s Giraldo Agency. ••
