Honoring Judge’s 1981 football champs

Coach Whitey Sullivan, assistant Bill Koch and players from Father Judge’s 1981 Catholic League championship football team were recognized on the 40th anniversary of that title during halftime of last week’s Thanksgiving game between Judge and Abraham Lincoln.

Judge defeated Cardinal O’Hara, 28-15, in the final, giving Sullivan his second crown, having previously won the 1975 championship. In all, Sullivan won four league titles. ••
