Police have identified the victims in last week’s double murder in Tacony as Christopher Mearns, 38, from the 4100 block of Hellerman St., and Nicholas Ferrante, 43, from the 4000 block of Passmore St.

The crime took place on Friday, at about 4:50 A.M., just outside a residence on the 4000 block of Passmore St.
The victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout their bodies. A fire department medic unit pronounced them dead at 5:10 a.m.
The investigation is active and ongoing with homicide detectives. ••
