Club Krush, 6414 Rising Sun Ave., is seeking a special assembly license to be able to have a DJ. A ZBA hearing will take place March 9. A hearing is set for April 27 for 426-28 Sentner St., for a rear addition with two parking spaces.

As for the rest of the meeting, LCA had music, food and an appearance by Santa Claus. The group honored City Councilwoman Cherelle Parker, state Reps. Isabella Fitzgerald and Jared Solomon and state Sen. Tina Tartaglione for their help this year. Solomon and Tartaglione recently announced funding to bring back a Police Athletic League center to Rising Sun and Longshore avenues.

The group also honored businesses and individuals that assisted their food giveaways during the coronavirus pandemic. People received citations from Parker, Fitzgerald, Solomon and Tartaglione. ••
