Police have identified the 35-year-old woman killed Monday night on the 900 block of Magee Ave.
At about 10:40 p.m., 2nd Police District officers responded to a 911 call for a female shooting victim. Upon arrival, they located the victim, later identified as Tasena Jennings, on the kitchen floor suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
A fire department medic unit pronounced her dead at 10:49 p.m.
A 17-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Police transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
No arrest has been made, and no weapon recovered.
The investigation is ongoing with homicide detectives. A motive and suspect are unknown. ••
