Police have identified the victim in Thursday afternoon’s shooting death in Summerdale as Eric Locke, 41, of the 800 block of Scattergood St.

At about 12:57 p.m., 2nd Police District officers responded to a 911 call to Scattergood Street, between Langdon Street and Summerdale Avenue, for a person with a gun.
There, they found Locke, who lived on the block, with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. They transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:27 p.m.
No arrest has been made, and no weapon recovered. Homicide detectives are investigating. A motive and suspect are unknown. ••
